Fees for Off-Duty Detail Services

The fees for Off-Duty Detail services are as follows:

  • $50 per hour per deputy, $55 per hour per supervisor
  • Hourly charges are subject to change
  • There will be a 3 hour minimum charge per deputy for all off-duty details, regardless of actual time spent on the detail
  • If time worked is greater than half of the assigned time, the vendor will be responsible for payment of the full assignment scheduled. 
  • The applicant/off-duty employer may be responsible for paying deputies for additional hours worked, up to 3 hours, resulting from or made necessary by the off-duty detail (e.g., arrest, prisoner booking, report writing).
  • Additional information related to scheduling and payment procedures can be obtained by calling 772-462-3281 during regular business hours.
  • Cancellations by you, the contractor, must be made to the off-duty detail coordinator twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the detail. If the notice is not given, the contractor will be charged, and the assigned deputy(s) will be paid a minimum of three (3) hours. 

Holiday Fees

Holiday fees are $60 per hour per deputy and $65 per hour per supervisor for:

  • President's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran's Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day After Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve
  • New Year's Day
