St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara releases video of convenience store robbery, you can view in on our Facebook page
St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara is releasing the video from a Tuesday night, north-county convenience store armed robbery and asking for the public's help to solve the crime.

You can view the video on the Sheriff's Facebook page at facebook.com/stluciesheriff.

"The Lakewood Park Market, at 5214 Turnpike Feeder Road, was held up by three black males wearing masks Tuesday night shortly before 10 p.m.," Sheriff Mascara said. "One of the robbers pointed a silver-colored handgun at the store clerk and made him open the cash register. The robbers took the money and ran south after they left the store."

The Sheriff said, "This was a violent crime in which these suspects used a gun while committing the robbery.  My hope in releasing the video to the news media is that someone can help us to identifying the suspects so that we can make arrests and remove these violent criminals from our community."

The Sheriff asked anyone with information to call detective offices at 772-462-3230 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (8477.)  Callers to Crime Stoppers can give their tips without giving their names and be eligible for a cash reward if the tip leads to an arrest. People can also give their tips to Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers anonymously by visiting the Crime Stoppers website at tcwatch.org.
