St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces that the St. Lucie West overpass bridge over I-95 is now open to traffic
The St. Lucie West overpass bridge over I-95 is now open, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
The bridge was damaged Jan. 8 when a trucker pulled under the overpass and his load of used tires caught fire.
The Florida Department of Transportation repaired the bridge and has determined it is safe for travel, Sheriff Mascara said.
