Law Enforcement Grants
 
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office takes advantage of grant funding opportunities to save local taxpayer dollars. Grant funds allow law enforcement agencies to develop programs, buy equipment, and hire personnel. In the 2003-2004 fiscal year, the Sheriff’s Office acquired $ 485,398.00 in grants to offset expenses.

Purpose: Installation of jail management system software and data conversion

Purpose: Salaries and benefits for two additional school resource deputies.
