RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) Programs

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is a proud member of the RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) international community. We offer self-defense education through these three programs. Please check back frequently as course announcements are listed through these pages.

Please email Sergeant Suzanne Woodward if interested. Class will be held to 12 students, first come first serve.

Classes

RAD classes are spread over two weeks and include a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the first week and a Monday and Tuesday of the second week. Classes are from 6 to 9 p.m. and are held at:

Fee

The course fee is $40 per person. Additional family members can attend for $20.

Register

To register, download the registration form (PDF) and submit it with payment to Debra McKenna or Carrie Fage. You may bring your form and payment in person during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or can mail them to the address listed.
